The new building "Malcolm Darrach Centre" at 1 Avonlea Dr in Charlottetown was built by the City of Charlottetown and is the new home of the East Royalty Lions Club.  The Club made a major contribution towards the kitchen equipment.(approx $20,000)

Antique Car Show
One of our yearly "Fund Raising Activity"

Lions Lester Fall is standing by his vintage Buick. 
Lester has been Chairman of the Local Antique Car Club for 17 yeas and on behalf of our club, he would like to thank them for their assistance in raising funds for our Donations to Community Projects.  The Antique Car Show was held on May 24th at the Charlottetown Mall.



On-Going Activity

"The new Malcolm Darrach Community Centre in East Royalty in conjunction with the "East Royalty Lions Club" will be the location for a new Ceilidh series beginning on Sunday November 18th at 7pm.  Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Tickets are $5 at the door. The Centre is at 1 Avonlea Drive."

Catering
We are now really equipped to do catering in our new Location. If required, we can provide beverage service. Just send us an email if you have a function that needs catering.  A part of our Kitchen facilities

We can cater for up to 150 people
 

Donations
  1. We have sponsored ball youth ball team over the years   and youth from our community that have been given the opportunity to further   their education by traveling the world to help others
  2. Donations to people who need to travel to other hospitals for treatment or test
  3. donation of TV's rocking chairs and comforter to hospitals to make peoples stay there better.
  4. Large donations to CNIB for specialized equipments
  5. Major Donations To Local Hospital
  6. Seniors' Christmas Dinner
  7. Seniors Housing Facility

King Lion Barry Smith and Club secretary Lion Joseph Hébert, presented a cheque of $4000. to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Equipment Drive on our local Cablevision.  Accepting the cheque is   Allen Morse and Verne Murphy on behalf of the Foundation.
